— Warsaw city sightseeing. You will get surprised by Constitution Square, discover the utopian plans of the Ministry of Agriculture, feel the propaganda at the Palace of Culture and Science (PKiN), and learn about the unknown secrets of the former headquarters of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers’ Party (i.e. the Party House). Sightseeing includes such highlights as the Palace of Culture, the Royal Route and Lazienki Garden. You will pay a visit to former Jewish ghetto and have the opportunity to see the Umschlagplatz. You won’t miss the Old Town with characteristic Sigismund’s column and the Royal Castle. Listen to the legend of the Warsaw mermaid and take a picture of Chopin’s Monument.

09:30 — Meeting with the representative of Polish producer and distributor of organic food. The company has been offering certified organic products since 2006. Its offer includes over 4,000 products. Company has its own eco shops chain all over the Poland.

16:00 — Meeting with the representative of company that deals exclusively with organic fruit and vegetables processing. The processing plant is focused on production of high quality organic juice of lactofermented vegetables, fruit, as well as jams and vegetable processed products. The offer covers also organic syrups, oils, vinegar, pre-cooked meals, loose products and organic sweets. In 2012 food safety and quality management system ISO 22000 was implemented.

08:00 — Torun city tour. City is famous for its medieval old town which was inscribed on the UNESCO list in 1997. Torun is the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, world famous astronomer who “stopped the Sun and moved the Earth”. It’s one of the best preserved gothic towns in Poland and the second Polish city, after Cracow, with greatest number of authentic monuments in the Gothic style.
11:00 — Transfer to technical visit.
12:00 — Lunch at the restaurant.
14:30 — Visit dairy processing company located in the heart of Masuria, in the small town of Łukta between Olsztyn and Ostróda. It produces organic dairy products since 2008. Its production takes place in a traditional way, and many activities in the factory are done manually, without the participation of machines. Environment-friendly production methods combined with the highest quality raw materials obtained from ecological, regional crops and farms determine the uniqueness of cheeses, yoghurts and curd produced at that factory.
