In a recent endeavor, we orchestrated an immersive agricultural tour for students and educators hailing from the French Institut de Genech, under the esteemed Erasmus+ program. This enriching excursion unfolded against the picturesque backdrop of the Silesian Voivodeship in southern Poland, offering a comprehensive program tailored to foster experiential learning and cultural exchange.

Highlights of the itinerary included:

1. Educational Visit to Complex of Schools Center for Agricultural Education, Nakło Śląskie: Participants were treated to an insightful tour of the institution’s state-of-the-art consumer service hall, a testament to ongoing investments in nutritional education infrastructure.

2. Exploration of a Family Agricultural Farm: Spanning an expansive 35 hectares, the farm showcased diverse cultivation practices, including wheat, barley, rapeseed, and soy, providing valuable insights into modern agricultural methodologies.

3. Engagement with Agricultural Machinery Dealer: Our guests interacted with local Agricultural Machinery Dealer, a reputable dealer offering a comprehensive range of CASE IH tractors and agricultural machinery. 4. Visit to the Largest Flower Production Company in the Region: Participants gained firsthand exposure to the intricacies of commercial flower production, underscoring the region’s diverse agricultural landscape.

5. Meeting with Silesian Chamber of Agriculture President and Economic Representative: An enlightening session facilitated discourse on regional agricultural practices and economic dynamics, offering valuable insights into the broader agricultural ecosystem.

In addition to agricultural immersion, participants delved into Poland’s poignant history through visits to significant landmarks, including the Auschwitz concentration camp and Schindler’s Factory Museum, fostering a holistic understanding of the region’s cultural and historical tapestry.

Post-tour feedback underscored overwhelmingly positive sentiments:

Satisfaction Ratings: A substantial 99% of participants rated the overall experience as “excellent” and positive sentiments rate.

Coordination and Logistics: An impressive 84% lauded the seamless coordination and execution of the tour logistics, reflecting meticulous planning and execution.

Farm Visit Impressions: Nearly unanimous acclaim was received for the farm visits, with 98% of participants rating the experiences positively, affirming the tour’s educational value and immersive nature.

Accommodation and Dining: Participants expressed high levels of satisfaction, with 99% commending the quality of accommodation and 100% endorsing the culinary offerings provided during the tour.
